Die MWZ 24 supports the International Mosel Paragliding Open 2009

From 30.04.2009 until 03.05.2009 nearly 100 Top Pilots from the German Paragliding Leaugue and international countries like Italy, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg competed at the oustanding scenery of the Mosel River Sites.

The 97 Pilots had to fly every day between 25kms and 60 kms .

Die MWZ 24 supports in 2009 the German Team Pilot Andreas "Pepe" Malecki.

Pepe Malecki won the Scenic World Cup in the Indian Himalaya in 2008 and with his 2nd Place at the first World Cup this years season in Brasil he underlined his ambitions to win the whoile series of 5 world cups this year.

Tandem Flights for MWZ 24 customers.

MWZ 24 offers it’s customers from April to October, the possibility to go paragliding with a pilot for a special price (depending on length of flight) on the condition that a furnished flat/apartment has been rented.
The flight area, which is the vineyards in Mittelmosel, is between Traben Trarbach and Trier. The tandem pilots are experts and guarantee a great experience.

The flights can be booked every weekend from Friday to Sunday, as long as the weather is playing.

In summer or golden autumm flight conditions are moderate and offer an unforgettable panorama of the grape harvest and not only from a birds eye view.

And if requested we can gladly offer our customers a weekend stay at one of the resident Wine makers, wine tasting included!

Ambitious cyclists as well as the not so ambitious can discover fantastic cycling tours starting from 30km along the Mosel up to 150km to the Eifel and back.
